After Years We Crossed Our Way

By Prateek Nayak

And yes! I like you again.
Though separation was there, but the feeling is same again.
And yes! You are still best.
Though change is inevitable, I still find you the best.

After years we did cross our ways,
Looking into eyes, they were deep.
The watery essence, did remind of past
of past, of memories, of times,
of times spent together, and of years spent apart.
Deeper I searched, deeper I got lost.
As if the charm, the lust confines me again.
Its not so strange, I see you again, I fall for you again.

And yes! I like you again.
Though separation was there, but the feeling is same again.
And yes! You are still best.
Though change is inevitable, I still find you the best.

After years we did cross our ways,
The touch proved momentous,
It was warm, I can feel it.
As if you have been there ever and ever, I just lost in cold cover.
We crossed each other, the last stare from eyes, did catch me.
As if I can see it in your eyes, I can see, reliving the past is what you wished.
Its not so strange, we see again, we fall again.

Silence is our new language, words can't define what we feel,
I can read you, emotions is now what I hear, I hear them loud.
And you burst, burst out on the shoulders, shoulders which are there forever.
We fall again.

And yes! The charm has worked, I am yours and you are mine.
Now, its so strange, we see again, we fall all over again
